Cows

The relationship between cows, bulls, oxen, and humans transcends space and time.

In Kṛṣṇa's world they are family and economic partners. Kṛṣṇa Himself is Gopāla and Govinda — protector and enjoyer of cows, bulls and oxen. Each one of them is fully part of His eternal pastimes.

In our material world, this connection points toward a complete cow-based economy that can sustain communities through:

• Milk, ghee, yogurt and cheese from protected cows
• Dung for fuel, fertilizer, and construction
• Bulls and oxen for plowing, transport, and power

Full-scale cow economies of this kind are still aspirations; the initiative below is building toward them.

Appreciation for this vision grows naturally through direct relationship — feeding, caring for, and simply spending time with these noble animals. For many the journey begins with the holy names and leads to the cows. For others, time with the cows quietly opens the heart toward Kṛṣṇa.
